Order Virtual World Real Estate
Virtual Real Estate in the US and Europe costs 2 cents/pixel
at zoom level 8. The price in all other areas of the world is a penny per
pixel. Please read the
FAQ for a detailed explanation of how virtual real
estate is priced.

To order virtual real estate, please do the following:
- Send me an
e-mail
requesting to purchase virtual real estate and tell me the location(s) and size(s)
you desire.
Upon receiving your request,
I'll verify the real estate is available and send you
an invoice using PayPal. (Note: in order to
indicate where you would like virtual real estate, you can
either give me the name of the city/country or you can tell
me the latitude and longitude coordinates that are displayed
at the bottom of the page whenever the map is clicked on)
- Please pay the invoice
(using either PayPal or a credit card) within 48 hours to ensure
that you keep your requested real estate.
- Immediately following
your payment, please e-mail me the following information
required to post your virtual real estate on the site:
- Send me the image you
would like placed in the virtual world. You can optionally specify if you would like
your image to be partially transparent. This will allow the
map to be partially seen under your image as shown in
this example.
(Note: Partial transparency only works when viewed in IE --
other browsers will display a solid image). You also
have the option of not displaying an image at all which
allows the map to be completely visible underneath.
If you choose this option you can provide an additional
description that will be displayed in place of the image on the pop-up window. This option is shown in
this example.
- Let me know what border color
you would like surrounding your virtual real estate.
Regardless of whether you select a solid image, a partially
transparent image or no image at all, you will get a solid
border.
- Give me the URL that your
virtual real estate should
link to.
- Let me know the name and description that should
show up in the pop-up window
whenever a user moves his/her mouse cursor over your
property.
